A - All throughout Scripture, God reminds us that it is in Him that we find strength, rest, and hope. All three are so desperately needed, and even more so as we face uphill battles as the days become more evil. Without God, we would just bounce from crisis to crisis and there would be no getting away from the turmoil that we live in daily, both within us and around us.      I pray that praise will flow in our  spirits today and always  through God's Holy Spirit because of Jesus our Savior and Healer.  Remember, as we sing His Word, God is singing over us.  Lisa's post is a beautiful reminder of the reason for my blog. It is about the Joy of the Lord and  the Joy of the Lord is my strength.  Nehemiah 8:10. Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah said to eat the  delicious food and sweet drink to celebrate the holy day. However, he did not say their joy was in their full tummies. He said, The Joy of the Lord would give them strength and deliver them from their sorrow.  Food gives us physical strength.   Nehemiah 8:10 The Joy of the Lord is your strength.  I started this blog writing about how to  have JOY and STRENGTH through knowing  Jesus as Lord and Savior.  I have posted that He is the Son of God who came to die for the sins of us all because we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God.  I enjoyed posting many articles, writings, and songs about His life, death, burial, and resurrection.   Recently I have been posting about His rapture, taking away, of His believers who have asked Him to forgive their sins and have invited His Holy Spirit to come in their hearts and live. I have posted a number of music videos which tell about Him and how we can relate to Him through the Father's gift of the Holy Spirit. My soul thirsts for you;      my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land      where there is no water.   Commentators speculate that the reference to deserts implies places less touched by God's blessing. Matthew 12:43 4 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.  I think of these verses on dry and sunny days, as well as on humid and cloudy days.  For some reason I feel God's presence more in low humidity, 40 percent or less, and I feel depressed and hopeless on days of high humidity into 70 percent or more, especially on cloudy days full of dampness and mold. I could not find much on this when I googled so if you read this and have any insight, please post and tell me what you think of "my thinking." My thinking is:  Demons like swamps and wet places since, according to Matthew 12:43, they go through dry places when cast out
