Waiting for the New Heaven and the New Earth

Matthew 6:10  Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 24:35   Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

 Jesus  made both above statements.  It is God's will that all come to repentance and believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. 

It is God's will that we have abundant life in Jesus who said, "In this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

God created the perfect earth. Man and Woman rebelled against God by disobeying Him. (Read the book of Genesis.) The earth then changed and man had to work it by the sweat of his brow. Man and Woman (Adam and Eve) gave Satan dominion over the earth.

God sent us a Savior, Jesus Christ His Son, to redeem us from sin. Jesus gained back dominion over the earth when Jesus rose from the dead with victory over death, sin, and the grave. 

We  must accept Jesus' victory by asking forgiveness for our sins. The rest of our lives, there can only be victory by living for God through reading and obeying His Written Word as we yield to His Holy Spirit. 

All of God's Word is inspired by the Holy Spirit. We cannot choose what to obey. No matter how politically incorrect a verse may be, every word of God is sacred and true. We are in eternal danger if we try to change or ignore His Holy Word, the Bible.  Deuteronomy 4:2 and Proverbs 4:6 says we are not to add or take from God's Word.

One day, the original earth will pass away as Jesus said in Matthew 24:35. However, Jesus says His Word will not pass away.

Meanwhile, as believers, we must pray for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. God's will is that none perish, all repent from their sin of disobedience, and all experience the joy, peace, love, and strength through His Holy Spirit for abundant living in this torn world.

Father God, I pray that in the midst of this polluted and war torn earth, we will know our sins are forgiven in Jesus who died and rose again for us, and is sitting at Your right hand waiting for the time to redeem the earth. 

You tell us in the book of Revelation, there will be a new heaven and new earth only for the redeemed who accept the precious blood of the lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world.  We wait for You!  In Jesus' name. Amen!

    All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God - but we have a Redeemer who is perfect and will cover us with HIS blood so we can be reconciled with our Father - hallelujah!! Thank you for posting this entry and may God bring those to it that He wants to read it and have seeds planted - Amen!

      Yes Lord, open eyes and hearts to the truth and need of your redemptive plan. Thank You, Jesus, You died and rose to bring us back to the garden of walking and talking with our Father God. Why I Cannot Believe in the Doctrine of Election

There are a number of scriptures which use an inclusive noun when expressing God's love and forgiveness.  Examples are: all, anyone, whosoever. Revelation 13:8 states "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the beast which is Satan) whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) slain from the foundation of the world." KJV This verse  in Revelation states that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. It does not say names were written in the Lamb's Book of Life since the foundation of the world. "From the foundation of the world" modifies "Lamb" who was slain from the foundation of the world. Therefore, Revelation 13:8 cannot correctly be used to support the doctrine of election in which God chooses some for eternal life to the exclusion of others.  This verse does not say that  God only writes the  names of the elect in the Lamb's Book of Life.
