Yom Kippur (Day of Attonement) Sundown October 11 to Sundown October 12, 2024"
"So, to the Jewish people all over the world, afflict your souls by understanding that by your own strength and deeds, you will not be saved. Bring forth the perfect sacrifice – Yeshua, who is the way, the truth, and the life. Let us turn our hearts toward Him, recognizing that salvation is not in what we can do, but in what He has already done. Let us understand the true meaning of this sacred day, not as a time to focus on ourselves, but as a time to focus on the One who gave everything for us."

And to Christians all over the world, know in your souls that Jesus was the fulfillment of the Jewish Laws.
Galatians 3:24-27 (KJV)
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we
might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no
longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith
in Christ Jesus.
The Law of the Old Testament can never be fulfilled by anyone but Jesus Christ, our Messiah.
I pray we will focus on Him. I pray we will believe that He is our Righteousness. What we do or fail to do can not bring us back to God. Jesus invites us to come bodly to the throne of grace.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Got Questions reminds us,
"Satan the accuser desires to remind believers of their sin and their
unworthiness of a place in God’s family and in this way sow doubt into
their hearts and minds. Satan wants to make Christians fear for their
salvation and forget God’s love and faithfulness. Satan says, “Look at
your sinfulness”; God says, “Look to Jesus, the author and finisher of
your faith” (see Hebrews 12:2)."
Yes, all Christians sin but those who are truly born again are conscious of their sin. Those who focus on themselves are vulnerable to Satan's attacks. Those who focus on the "One who gave everything for us" find peace in their afflicted souls.
Father God,
I pray all who read this blog will ask forgiveness in Jesus' name and be restored to You.
I pray all who read this blog will find fellowship with You each day by choosing to read your Word.
I pray all will take Your Word as the final authority, whether they understand it or not.
I pray praise will fill their hearts, souls, and minds.
I pray the lips of their mouth will utter Your praise, and speak aloud Your Holy Word.
I pray the words of their mouth and the meditations of their heart will be pleasing to You
as they acknowledge Jesus as their Savior.
In the name above all names, Jesus Our Savior, I pray. Amen.
