Crossing of the Red Sea is celebrated tonight by Jews around the world who are reading Exodus 15:1-18

 



Tonight is the 7th day of Passover. This is according to Exodus 12:16 the second holy convocation after Passover Eve. According to rabbinical tradition this is the time of the crossing of the Red Sea. This is when Jews around the world are reading from Exodus 15:1-18.


“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying:

“I will sing to the Lord,
For He has triumphed gloriously!

The horse and its rider
He has thrown into the sea!

The Lord is my strength and song,

And He has become my salvation;

He is my God, and I will praise Him;

My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
 
The Lord is a man of war;
The Lord is His name.”

Just like then we are facing now many Pharaohs chariots and horses behind us and a massive Red Sea in front of us.
The same God of Israel will fight for us today!

Only God's Holy Spirit Can Describe Who Jesus Is

"The Greek word for 'indescribable' is used nowhere else in the New Testament and is translated as meaning 'unutterable.'  It means that words cannot describe and no human can fully appreciate the magnitude of the gift."  "Not capable of being altered or changed" is how Merriam Webster defines unutterable. God's gift, Jesus, will never change.
