The Blessed Hope for Believers, and the Promise Fulfilled for the Nation of Israel in the Millennial Reign of Jesus

 

Jesus will return with the believers after the Time of Jacob's Troubles, the Tribulation Period of 7 years.  He will set up His 1000 year reign in which all must bow before Him as He reigns from Jerusalem.  

One third of the Jews will be saved out of the Tribulation and will see Jesus when He comes in the clouds. 

 Zechariah 14:4-11 states,  " Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He [a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in [b]fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a [c]sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.

Believers, both Jew and Gentile, will not be on earth during the Tribulation Period.  We will be with Jesus in heaven.  We will be part of the armies in heaven who return with Jesus to the Mt. of Olives.  We will reign with Jesus in the Millennial Reign in which the promise made to Israel will be fulfilled.

 Israel will finally acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah. The Messiah's reign will begin. The devil and his angels will be bound during this time of a thousand years. Thus the name, Millennium. 

And He shall reign forever, and ever!  Hallelujah!!!

The final happening will be the last battle on earth which is fought with the devil and all who choose to follow him after the 1000 years reign when he will be loosed. 

Jesus will win.  The devil and his followers will be thrown into the lake of fire.  The ones who made Jesus Lord in their hearts will live in the new Jerusalem with Him forever.

Revelation 13:8 KJV   "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world."   I believe the ones in the tribulation time who have not accepted Jesus will be the ones whose names will not and can not be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Why I Cannot Believe in the Doctrine of Election

There are a number of scriptures which use an inclusive noun when expressing God's love and forgiveness.  Examples are: all, anyone, whosoever. Revelation 13:8 states "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the beast which is Satan) whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) slain from the foundation of the world." KJV This verse  in Revelation states that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. It does not say names were written in the Lamb's Book of Life since the foundation of the world. "From the foundation of the world" modifies "Lamb" who was slain from the foundation of the world. Therefore, Revelation 13:8 cannot correctly be used to support the doctrine of election in which God chooses some for eternal life to the exclusion of others.  This verse does not say that  God only writes the  names of the elect in the Lamb's Book of Life.
