"Thus Saith the Lord"

I am excited about starting a study of Jesus in the Old Testament when my books come. I feel this study will most certainly be a streak of the light of joy to herald His coming. I will spend my free time devoted to this with God's help, and thereby be ready with oil in my lamp. Praise our beautiful Savior!

The more of God's Word we read and put in our minds going down to our hearts, the more there will be for the Holy Spirit to bring to our remembrance! As we store up His Word in our minds and down to our hearts, there is more Holy Spirit communication available. 

We can begin to know "Thus saith the Lord"  vs. "I just feel like that."

Revelation 13:8 KJV   "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world."   I believe the ones in the tribulation time who have not accepted Jesus will be the ones whose names will not and can not be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Why I Cannot Believe in the Doctrine of Election

There are a number of scriptures which use an inclusive noun when expressing God's love and forgiveness.  Examples are: all, anyone, whosoever. Revelation 13:8 states "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the beast which is Satan) whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) slain from the foundation of the world." KJV This verse  in Revelation states that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. It does not say names were written in the Lamb's Book of Life since the foundation of the world. "From the foundation of the world" modifies "Lamb" who was slain from the foundation of the world. Therefore, Revelation 13:8 cannot correctly be used to support the doctrine of election in which God chooses some for eternal life to the exclusion of others.  This verse does not say that  God only writes the  names of the elect in the Lamb's Book of Life.
