Renewing of Your Mind Brings Transformation

Romans 12:1-2 NKJV

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, 

holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

 

The renewing of your mind brings transformation whereby we are able to show with our lives what the perfect will of God is.

Father God, may our minds be transformed as we present our human selves to you each day as difficult as it may be as we struggle against the flesh.

It is difficult, but it is our reasonable service as the Apostle Paul tells us. Thank You, it is possible in the power of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Revelation 13:8 KJV   "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world."   I believe the ones in the tribulation time who have not accepted Jesus will be the ones whose names will not and can not be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Why I Cannot Believe in the Doctrine of Election

There are a number of scriptures which use an inclusive noun when expressing God's love and forgiveness.  Examples are: all, anyone, whosoever. Revelation 13:8 states "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the beast which is Satan) whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) slain from the foundation of the world." KJV This verse  in Revelation states that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. It does not say names were written in the Lamb's Book of Life since the foundation of the world. "From the foundation of the world" modifies "Lamb" who was slain from the foundation of the world. Therefore, Revelation 13:8 cannot correctly be used to support the doctrine of election in which God chooses some for eternal life to the exclusion of others.  This verse does not say that  God only writes the  names of the elect in the Lamb's Book of Life.
