Let Us Be Thankful Today and Worship God with Holy Fear and Awe.

 Hebrews 12:28-29

 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.  For our God is a devouring fire.

Father  God, show us how to please You by worshiping You with holy fear and awe.  Take the us out of our worship. Let us worship You with only thoughts of You. Let our worship be in spirit and in truth. 

Like those in Your Word who fell in Your Holy presence, let us see that we are not worthy to even lift our voice in what we call praise if our hearts are not clean. 

 Forgive our sins. Cleanse our hearts from self centered worship. Cause us to bow and even fall in Your presence. Help us to know we have no idea of who You are apart from Jesus Christ who died to redeem us.

May we ask Your forgiveness for our sins, and offer raised hands cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Forgive our pride, our arrogance, our boastful singing. Let all singing and praise be from a clean heart as hands are raised to You today.  

 Thank You for being patient with us. Thank You for Your Son Jesus in whose name I pray.  Amen.

Revelation 13:8 KJV   "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world."   I believe the ones in the tribulation time who have not accepted Jesus will be the ones whose names will not and can not be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Why I Cannot Believe in the Doctrine of Election

There are a number of scriptures which use an inclusive noun when expressing God's love and forgiveness.  Examples are: all, anyone, whosoever. Revelation 13:8 states "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the beast which is Satan) whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) slain from the foundation of the world." KJV This verse  in Revelation states that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. It does not say names were written in the Lamb's Book of Life since the foundation of the world. "From the foundation of the world" modifies "Lamb" who was slain from the foundation of the world. Therefore, Revelation 13:8 cannot correctly be used to support the doctrine of election in which God chooses some for eternal life to the exclusion of others.  This verse does not say that  God only writes the  names of the elect in the Lamb's Book of Life.
