In the Fullness of Time is How God Works in the Human Race

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, Galatians 4:4

To be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.  Ephesians 1:10 (Jesus' Second Coming to rule and reign)

God is the God of all time.  He is time.  No beginning. No ending.  Man is linear. God is circular.

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. Isaiah 57:15

Various scholars of the Bible disagree on when Jesus was born.  Some say September, recently April, both saying not December 25.  The year  was not l BC.  Most agree on 4-6 BC.  Conclusions are based on Jewish laws and historical events.  There is no unity among believers on the date when Jesus was born.  Jewish custom was known to celebrate a death not a birth. The early church only celebrated His resurrection, and God did not find it necessary to tell us the exact date.  This is a mystery left for our research, readings, and detective analysis.

God has all things in a purposeful plan. All the feasts of Israel are at the same time each year. Jesus' life is parallel to these.

Still, much is a mystery including when Jesus will come for the church in the Rapture.  Paul says,  "Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed_in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."  I Corinthians 15:51-58

The catching away in the clouds of the church, known as the Rapture, is mentioned more than once  in the Bible, but an exact date is not given.  So the time for Jesus' return for the church is an even greater discussion than the time when He came to earth as a baby.

So why do Christians argue so much about God's time tables.  God said in Isaiah 57:15, written above, that He lives with those whose spirits are contrite and humble.  Is God really living as He desires in the hearts of those who always have to know the exact time He works in man's life? The point to knowing is only to know Him more, not to exalt our own knowledge through hot arguments in social media.

Father God, Show us the truth in Your Word so that we may know, love and obey You more; so that we may love You with all our hearts, souls, mind and strength; and so that we love our neighbor as ourselves.  First, help us to love ourselves as You love us and see us through the righteousness of Jesus.  In Jesus' name. Amen
