  Psalm 56:8  You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Revelation 5:8  And when he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.   Malachi 3:16  Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened attentively and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and esteem His name.

    I remember to this day responding to the invitation from a Christian man who came to our home in Axton, Virginia to witness to my dad. I was standing and listening to him talk to my dad about Jesus. He led my dad in the sinner's prayer. Then he looked at me and asked if I would like to ask Jesus into my heart. I said o.k. I was eight years old. When I prayed I got a picture in my mind of Jesus hanging on the cross. After the man left I was so full of joy. I told my parents, "We are going to have a happy family now." We started going to church. I was baptized in a muddy river and I am ashamed to say I was worried about getting my new yellow dress ruined in the muddy river. The flesh has from the beginning of my new birth been an obstacle in and to my faith. Praise God, His amazing grace has brought me through many dangers, tears, toils, and snares. And I know His grace will lead me home! Hallelujah!  Praise the name of Jesus!  I am looking forward to

      1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. I had a nightmare around 3:00AM. I dreamed of a HUGE snake about 20 feet long and bigger in diameter than a basketball. The snake had been baked and had swollen up but it came back to life when we tried to remove it from our way. I yelled, "Run! It's still alive!" I left the other person, I don't know who they were, and leaped down about 3 flights of stairs. I heard the snake snorting after me. Then I woke up! Praise God! I prayed a lot after waking up at 3:00AM.   This morning this verse in 1 Peter came to my mind so thought I would make a post of my thoughts. Satan has been crushed (baked) by our Lord Jesus.
