All We Like Sheep

 Isaiah 53:6
NKJ   All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 

NLT  All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.

Thanks for this creative card, Lisa.  Just loved these sheep and thought of this verse.

The two sheep in the picture have turned to their own way to eat. Leaving the grass which was not as plentiful as they wished, they decided to feast on the young fruit tree. They have gone  astray in the pasture in which they were placed by their owner.

Like sheep, all humans have gone astray because Adam and Eve went astray in the garden in which they were placed . We inherited the sinful nature to go our own way, away from obeying God. We as humans have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet God has not forgotten us. He gives us an opportunity to be restored to Him through Jesus, His Son.

Father God sent Jesus, His Son, to take the punishment of our sin when He died on the cross. Jesus rose again and is now in heaven waiting for us to be restored to Father God when we accept Him as our Redeemer.  

He is waiting to come again and receive us unto Himself in the place He has prepared for us for eternity, the new heaven and earth. Don't miss the Rapture when He returns. Make Him Your Savior today and be restored to God the Father who laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all.

Father God, draw us to Jesus, our Redeemer. May we all see our need to be forgiven and accept the plan You made through Him to be restored to You, and come back to the garden of sweet fellowship with You, our Creator.  May we all come before it is too late.  I pray none will hear, "Depart from me. I never knew you."  Instead let us all hear, "Well done thy good and  faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord."  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
