All Who Would Receive Jesus in This Life May Enter the New Jerusalem - Others Will Be Denied Access

The last verse in the "Holy City" is not in line with God's Word. "And all who would might enter in, and no one was denied."

Revelation Chapter 21 describes the New Jerusalem. Verses  26-27 state who may enter it.

26They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations. 27 But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

It is true we might enter if we would receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior in this life.  Only then will God record our names in the Lamb's Book of Life.

When the New Jerusalem comes down, it will be too late  after we die to acknowledge Jesus as the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world.

 John 1:12-13

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Lord God, I pray that all who read this blog whose name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life will receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior as they ask forgiveness for their sins. Thank You for writing their names in the Lamb's Book of Life when they pray.  The angels will rejoice in heaven.  Hallelujah!  In the name of Jesus our Savior I pray. Amen.
