Did You Know? Amir Tsarfati's Telegram News

Did you know? The original Palestinians were actually the Jewish subjects who lived in the Land of Israel under the British Mandate. They were the first and almost the only ones who held passports labeled 'Palestine.' The Arabs refused to recognize British rule and refused to call themselves Palestinians, as they were unwilling to separate from their broader regional Arab identity. Many of them, who were in fact migrant workers, were not even registered in the population records. Therefore, most of the pictures you see here of Palestinian passports, companies, infrastructure, sports teams, radio stations, entertainment institutions, etc. (as a kind of fake proof of the existence of the State of Palestine) are of Jews, not Arabs. What does the Bible say about satire and/or sarcasm? Got Questions

Image
"What does the Bible say about satire and/or sarcasm?   Sarcasm is the use of irony (saying one thing while meaning another) or other rhetorical devices in a biting, hurtful way. There is a difference between sarcasm and satire, although they are related. Satire is the use of irony or ridicule to expose foolishness, but without the “bite” of sarcasm. Satire is gentler; sarcasm is more derisive and sneering. The question is, is satire or sarcasm ever appropriate? This would be easy enough to resolve if not for the fact that God uses satire in several places in Scripture. For example, Paul’s words in this passage: “You are already filled, you have already become rich, you have become kings without us; and indeed, I wish that you had become kings so that we also might reign with you. For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ’s

The Davidic Covenant is comprised of promises made by God to David, making it unconditional.  The information most pertinent to understanding the Millennium is first found in 2 Samuel 7:10-13: And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more.  And violent men shall afflict them no more, as formerly, from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel.  And I will give you rest from all your enemies.  Moreover, the LORD declares to you that the LORD will make you a house.  When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.  He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. The first promise is a reaffirmation that the land of Israel would be for the Hebrew people (vv. 10-11).  It is to be a land where they will be

The True Meaning of the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot) Amir’s commentary on Pentecost as Jews worldwide observe Shavuot (The Feast of Weeks) beginning Tuesday evening. Jews worldwide will begin observing the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot) on Tuesday evening, also known as Pentecost, meaning “fifty”, as it is exactly fifty days after the Feast of Firstfruits. Common forms of celebration include musical events and activities as a family. Additionally, markets and bakeries will typically overflow with produce as a sign of the celebration of the harvest of the land. The holiday is a celebration of the end of the biblical seven-week wheat harvest in the Land of Israel, and it commemorates God’s gift of the Torah and His oath to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai. Furthermore, on the day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago, the Holy Spirit (the promise of the Father) descen
